O R D E R

The petitioner herein sought a direction to the Inspector of Police, Banjara Hills police station, to complete investigation in Crime No.175 of 2010 and file a

charge sheet before the competent Court.

The Inspector of Police, Banjara Hills, filed a counter stating that upon the private complaint filed by the petitioner before the learned III Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad, Crime No.175 of 2010 was registered under Sections 324, 379, 384 and 506 IPC on the file of the Banjara Hills police station on 16.02.2010. After due investigation, a final report was filed before the learned III Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad on 31.03.2010 under Section 173 Cr.P.C. The police authorities stated that the action was dropped due to lack of evidence.

In the light of the aforestated counter-affidavit averments, it is for the petitioner to take appropriate action in accordance with law, if he is aggrieved by the final report filed. Reserving liberty to the petitioner to do so, the writ petition is dismissed. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall also stand dismissed.
