THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.1324 OF 2014 ORDER:
This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure (Cr.P.C) by the petitioner-accused seeking to quash the proceedings in crime No.21 of 2014 on the file of Nallakunta Police Station, Hyderabad, registered for the offence punishable under Section 447 IPC.
When the matter is taken up for hearing, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. No interim order was granted by this Court earlier. The matter pertains to the year 2014. The offence is also bailable in nature. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is of the view that the police concerned can proceed with the investigation and file final report, if any, in accordance with law before the Court concerned. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is disposed of directing the police concerned to proceed with the investigation in Crime No.21 of 2014 on the file of Nallakunta Police Station, Hyderabad, and file final report, if any, in accordance with law before the Court concerned. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending if any, shall stand closed.
