This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking the following relief:
"To issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not preventing the illegal sand mining in 'Pedavagu' at Sooraram village (point), Koilkonda mandal, Mahaboobnagar district as illegal, arbitrary and violation of Article 14 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the Respondents to take immediate steps to prevent the illegal sand mining at the above point".

Heard Sri G.Rambabu, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Respondents 1 to 4 and Sri G.Narender Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for Respondent No.5 Gram Panchayat, apart from perusing the material available on record.

When the matter is taken up, it is represented by the learned counsel for the petitioner that for redressal of the grievance of the petitioner, petitioner herein submitted a representation dated 2.1.2017 to the 2nd respondent and no orders have been passed on the said representation and necessary direction may be issued to the 2nd respondent to pass appropriate orders on the said representation, in accordance with law, by fixing some time frame.

Recording the said submission and having regard to the nature of controversy, the writ petition is disposed of, without expressing any opinion on the merits and demerits of the matter, directing the 2nd respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the representation dated 2.1.2017
said to have been submitted by the petitioner herein, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible. As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs. ______________ A.V.SESHA SAI, J Date: 8.3.2017 DA
