IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT HYDERABAD

FOR THE STATE OF TELANGANA & THE STATE OF ANDHRA PRADESH (Special Original Jurisdiction) THURSDAY, THE TWELVTH DAY OF MARCH TWO THOUSAND AND FIFTEEN PRESENT THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No. 6271 of 2015 BETWEEN Smt.Malan Bee and others ... PETITIONERS AND The State of Telangana, Rep. by its Principal Secretary (Department of Home), A.P. Secretariat Building, Hyderabad and others. ...RESPONDENTS The Court made the following:

ORDER:

Heard.

2. The case of the petitioners is that they are owners of Ac.3-00, Ac.1-00 in survey Nos.105 and 107 respectively situated at Nankramguda Village, Serilingamapally Mandal, Ranga Reddy District. During the lifetime of their father, the said land was gifted to them on 21.03.1990. After the death of their father, their names were mutated in the revenue records by proceedings, dated 14.07.2009.

The pattadar passbooks and title deeds were kept with petitioner No.1 for safe custody. Petitioners have lost the same and hence, filed a complaint

before respondent No.3 on 24.02.2015. Alleging that respondent No.3 is not taking any action, the present writ petition is filed.

3. Since the petitioners have already made a representation to the concerned authority, I deem it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition directing the concerned authority i.e., respondent No.3 to take necessary action on the representation of the petitioners for issuance of non-traceable certificate, in accordance with law, expeditiously preferably within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, writ petition is disposed of. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
