O R D E R

(Per Hon'ble Sri Justice Sanjay Kumar) This contempt case was instituted alleging wilful disobedience to the order dated 08.03.2018 passed in W.P.No.24720 of 2016. By the said order, the respondents were directed to consider the case of the petitioner herein for promotion to the post of Executive Officer Grade II. We are now informed that the petitioner has been duly promoted as an Executive Officer Grade II, but Sri D.Rama Krishna, learned counsel representing Sri M.Ratna Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner, would contend that the issue of seniority still constitutes a grievance for the petitioner.

As that aspect cannot be looked into by this Court in exercise of contempt jurisdiction, this contempt case is closed leaving it open to the petitioner to invoke independent remedies in accordance with law with regard to the issue of seniority.
