THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.25349 of 2006 O R D E R:

This writ petition is filed seeking a writ of mandamus declaring the notification in Ref.No.G.2/3167/2006 dated 28.9.2006 under Section 4(1) of the Land Acquisition Act and the declaration dated 24.11.2006 issued under Section 6 of the Act issued by the respondents by rejecting the objections under Section 5-A of the Act by the second respondent as illegal and arbitrary and consequently, to set aside the same.

While admitting the writ petition, an interim order was passed in favour of the writ petitioners. The limited grievance of the petitioners is that the objections raised by them are not considered while passing the declaration. In view of the nature of the grievance, the writ petition is disposed of as follows: The petitioners are directed to give their objections afresh along with a copy of order of this Court to the concerned respondent within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. On filing such objections, the respondents are directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders within a period of three months thereafter.

The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.

Consequently, the miscellaneous petitions, if any shall also stand disposed of.
