The grievance of the petitioner is that he is not being issued an e-pattadar pass book in relation to his land admeasuring Acs.6.00 guntas in Survey No.56/A of Jilled Village, Chowderguda Mandal, Ranga Reddy District.

Perusal of the record reflects that the petitioner was already issued a regular pattadar pass book in relation to the subject land under the provisions of the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971. He made a representation dated 21.02.2019 to the Tahsildar, Chowderguda Mandal, seeking redressal of his grievance but, despite receipt of the same on the very same day, the Tahsildar took no action. It is not open to the Tahsildar concerned to remain unmoved when an e-pattadar pass book would be essential for the petitioner to seek benefits under the Government's Rythu Bandhu Scheme. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of directing the Tahsildar, Chowderguda Mandal, to take appropriate action upon the petitioner's representation dated 21.02.2019 keeping in mind the regular pattadar pass book already issued to him.

This exercise shall be completed expeditiously, and in any event, not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, be it from whatever source.
