This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure by the petitioner-accused No.2 to quash the proceedings initiated against him in Crime No.135 of 2018 of Boinpalli Police Station, Rajanna Siricilla District, registered for the offence under Section 3(i)(r)(s) of SCs & STs (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 2015. 2.
There is no representation on behalf of the petitioneraccused No.2. 3.
Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing for respondent No.1-State has submitted that during pendency of this criminal petition, the Police concerned have completed the investigation and filed charge-sheet and the same was taken on file by the learned Special Judge for Trial of Cases under SCs & STs Act-cum-III Additional District and Sessions Judge, Karimnagar, and the same is numbered as Spl.S.C.No.423 of 2021. Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor has filed a copy of e-Courts proceedings to substantiate the same.

In view of the above submission, since entire investigation is completed and charge sheet is also filed, the very purpose of filing the criminal petition to quash Crime No.135 of 2018 of Boinpalli Police Station, Rajanna Siricilla District, is defeated and thereby the Criminal Petition has become infructuous and liable to be dismissed.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, the petitioner is given liberty to challenge the charge sheet, if he so desire.
Pending Miscellaneous Applications, if any, shall stand closed.
