HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 8112 of 2018 O R D E R :

Petitioner states that, as against the order dated 08.01.2018 imposing penalty of Rs.2,69,700/-, for black marketing the PDS rice, an appeal, along with stay application, was filed before respondent No.2. She seeks a direction to dispose of the stay application. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Civil Supplies (TG).

In the circumstances, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing respondent No.2 to dispose of the appeal within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till then, the order of respondent No.3 dated 08.01.2018, imposing penalty, is stayed.

Miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
