The grievance of the two petitioners in this case was as to the continuance of the rowdy sheets opened in their names on the file of Avanigadda Police Station, Krishna District.

The Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Avanigadda, Krishna District, filed a counter-affidavit stating that both the petitioners were involved in criminal cases and therefore rowdy sheets were opened in their names on the file of Avanigadda Police Station. Insofar as the 1st petitioner is concerned, the Sub-Divisional Police Officer stated that he was arrested as recently as on 03.01.2013 and therefore the continuance of the rowdy sheet in his name was sought to be justified. Insofar as the 2nd petitioner is concerned, the Sub-Divisional Police Officer stated that no adverse reports have been received against him and after obtaining due permission, the rowdy sheet opened in his name was closed on 20.01.2015. In the light of the afore-stated facts, the 1st petitioner can have no grievance as to the continuance of the rowdy sheet in his name owing to his alleged involvement in criminal activity recently. The cause no longer survives insofar as the 2nd petitioner is concerned.

The writ petition is therefore dismissed.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
