THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.14993 of 2016 ORDER:

The prayer of the petitioners in this case is as under: "it is hereby prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a writ order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, to declare the action of the Respondent authorities in not issuing the Backward Class Caste Certificates (BC-A) to the petitioners herein who belong to Vanyakula Kshatriya Community, in spite of submitting the respective applications dt.27.06.2015 before the Respondent No.3 as being illegal, arbitrary and unconstitutional, and to grant such other relief or reliefs as this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."

As it is stated by the petitioners' applications for issuance of caste certificates are still pending consideration before the authorities concerned, this Court sees no purpose in entertaining the writ petition for adjudication on merits at this stage. It is for the authorities concerned to apply their mind to the applications made by the petitioners and take appropriate action thereon. In the event the petitioners' request for issuance of caste certificates is rejected, the reasons therefor shall be duly recorded and communicated to them. This exercise shall be completed expeditiously and in any event, not later than two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs. ____________________ JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR Date:28.04.2016 GJ/PGS
