N.V.B. Gangadhar Rao v. The State Of Telangana
THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.6625 OF 2016 ORDER:
This Criminal Petition is filed by the accused under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.49 of 2014 pending on the file of XV Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Nampally, Hyderabad for the offences under Sections 498-A IPC, 324, 506 r/w 34 IPC. After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner confined his argument to the extent of directing the trial Court to dispose of the main case as expeditiously as possible. The main grievance of the petitioner is that originally, the case pertains to 2004 and subsequently it was transferred and renumbered as C.C.No.49 of 2014. It is alleged that on one pretext or the other, the trial Court is not proceeding with the case.
Considering the grievance of the petitioner, the trial Court is directed to dispose of the C.C.No.49 of 2014 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is also directed to cooperate for the trial. The petitioner herein is permitted to represent the other accused on all hearing dates before the trial Court.
The Criminal Petition is accordingly disposed of. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall stand closed. ________________________ JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO 27.04.2016 Tsr
