HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO Criminal Petition No.3339 of 2018 ORDER:

The defacto complainant and her counsel Smt.R.Snehitha Reddy, are present. Accused Nos.1 to 4 and their counsel Dr.Challa Srinivas Reddy, are present. Both the parties are identified by their respective counsel.

2) Heard both sides and perused the petition.

3) The defacto complainant gave a complaint to police of Akividu PS, West Godavari District and the same was registered as Crime No.70 of 2017 under Sections 498-A, 323 r/w 34 IPC and Sections 3 & 4 of D.P. Act against A.1 to A.4 and the investigation is pending. 4) While-so, A.1 to A.4 filed Criminal Petition No.3339 of 2018 before this Court seeking to quash the proceedings against them in Crime No.70 of 2017 of Akividu PS and the same is pending. 5) Today, both parties along with their respective counsel appeared before this Court and submitted that at the intervention of elders both parties have entered into a compromise by amicably settling all their disputes and in view of the settlement arrived at by them, the proceedings against the accused in Crime No.70 of 2017 of Akividu PS may be quashed in the interest of justice.

6) This Court on enquiry to the defacto complainant submitted that she is educated and studied B.Tech in Padmavathi Mahila University. She submitted that she has no objection for quashing the proceedings against the accused in Crime No.70 of 2017 of Akividu PS. 7) Therefore, in view of her submission, this Criminal Petition is allowed and the proceedings against A.1 to A.4 in Crime No.70 of 2017 of Akividu PS, West Godavari District are quashed. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
