ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking to declare the action of 2nd respondent in not disposing of appeal dated 23.03.2017 filed by petitioner challenging the final order dated 15.02.2017 vide Rc.No.HR/15/EGS/DWMA/2015 passed by 3rd respondent, as illegal and arbitrary.

The case of petitioner is that while he was working as Field Assistant under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Scheme, the 3rd respondent issued a show cause notice dated 28.12.2016 alleging certain irregularities. He submitted a detailed explanation denying the said allegations. The further case of petitioner is that the 3rd respondent, without considering his explanation, passed final order dated 15.02.2017 terminating his services. Challenging the same, he filed an appeal before the 2nd respondent on 23.03.2017, but no action has been taken for disposal of the said appeal.

Heard learned counsel for petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development for respondents 1 and 2 and Sri M. Sree Ramachandra, learned Standing Counsel for respondent No.3.

In view of the limited grievance of petitioner for disposal of appeal, I deem it appropriate to direct the 2nd respondent-District Collector to dispose of the appeal dated 23.03.2017 filed by

ARR, J W.P.No.30647 of 2017 petitioner, in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
