W.P.No.8329/2017 WRI T PETI TI ON No.8329 of 2017 ORDER: (Per Hon'ble Sri Justice V. Ramasubramanian) Aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the respondents in processing their refund claim the petitioner, who is a dealer under the AP VAT Act, has come up with the present writ petition.
2. Heard Mr. M. Venkatram Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. M. Govind Reddy, learned Special Standing Counsel for the respondents.
3. On instructions it is submitted by the learned Special Standing Counsel that since the file could not be traced, the refund claim could not be processed. Now it has been traced. Therefore, he seeks eight weeks time.
4. Considering the above, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to process the refund claim of the petitioner and pass orders in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks.
5. As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
