Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Pleader for Revenue (A.P.) for respondents 1 to 4 and the learned Government Pleader for Home for respondent No.5.

The case of the petitioner is that he filed an appeal before the 3rd respondent on 16.11.2015 against the proceedings dated 04.11.2015 issued under Section 6 of the A.P.Land Encroachment Act, 1905 and the same is not disposed of. Hence, the present writ petition is filed.

In view of the above facts and circumstances, since the appeal is stated to be pending before the 3rd respondent, the 3rd respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till then, status quo obtaining as on today shall be maintained by both the parties.
