The grievance of the petitioners was that the Superintendent of Police, Guntur Urban, Guntur District, was not handing over the investigation of Crime Nos.97 of 2011, 150 of 2011 and 255 of 2011 on the file of Mangalagiri Town Police Station to the CBCID, Guntur. No interim orders were passed by this Court in this writ petition. It is now stated by the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home that the investigation in the afore-stated crimes was completed and final reports were filed before the competent criminal court in relation to all the three crimes.

Insofar as Crime No.97 of 2011 is concerned, it was registered on the file of Mangalagiri Town Police Station under Sections 324, 363, 420, 468 and 506 I.P.C. read with Section 34 I.P.C. However, final report dated 16.05.2011 was filed before the competent criminal court stating that the case was false. Intimation to this effect was also given to the complainant in Form-70 dated 18.05.2012. Insofar as Crime No.150 of 2011 is concerned, it was registered

on the file of Mangalagiri Town Police Station under Sections 9, 20 and 22 of the Chit Funds Act, 1982, and Sections 420, 468 and 471 I.P.C. read with Section 34 I.P.C. Upon investigation, final report dated 30.07.2012 was filed before the competent criminal court reporting that the case was civil in nature. Intimation in this regard was also given to the complainant in Form-70 dated 03.08.2012.

As regards Crime No.255 of 2011, the same was registered under Sections 120-B, 468 and 471 I.P.C. read with Section 34 I.P.C. on the file of Mangalagiri Town Police Station and final report dated 28.11.2011 was filed before the competent court reporting that it was a false case. Intimation was also given in this regard to the complainant in Form-70 dated 02.12.2011.

In the light of the afore-stated facts, it is for the petitioners to avail appropriate remedies in accordance with law if they are aggrieved by the conclusion arrived at by the police authorities in relation to the complaints in the three crimes. Reserving liberty to the petitioners to do so, the writ petition is dismissed.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
