When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication.

In view of the above submission, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
