THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. RAMALINGESWARA RAO W.P.No.36651 of 2014 ORDER:

This writ petition was filed challenging the action of the respondents in not issuing work order in pursuance of the tender notification in proceedings No.P3/122(01)/2014-RM/Krishna, dated 20.08.2014 for supply of Traffic Guides at the units of Machilipatnam Division.

Though the writ petition was filed with the above relief, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 5.08.2015 to the Personnel Officer, seeking refund of EMD amount, as he does not want to pursue the present writ petition.

Learned Standing Counsel for the respondents submits that on the representation of the petitioner orders were passed on 5.08.2015 for refund of EMD after taking sanction of the competent authority. In the circumstances, the respondents are directed to refund the EMD amount to the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
