HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN WRIT PETITION No.16782 OF 2009 ORDER:

The petitioner's apprehension is that the respondents are not protecting Government lands as also the water tank adjoining Sy. No.50/1 Bamrukunddawal village, Rajendranagar Taluq, Ranga Reddy District. No counter-affidavit has been filed by the respondents. Learned Government Pleader would submit that the petitioner's apprehension is without any basis, and the present Writ Petition has been filed since the land abutting the tank was under encroachment for which the Government had instituted proceedings under the A.P. Land Grabbing (Prohibition) Act, 1982.

Smt. K. Udaya Sri, Learned Counsel for the petitioner, expresses ignorance as to events subsequent to the filing of the Writ Petition. I consider it appropriate, in such circumstances, to permit the petitioner to submit a representation to the second respondent who shall, within three months from the date of receipt of the representation, consider the same in accordance with law, pass orders thereupon, and communicate his decision to the petitioner herein. The Writ Petition stands disposed of accordingly. The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
