HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.13971 of 2017 ORDER:

The petitioner questions the inaction of respondents in considering representation dated 10.03.2017 seeking extension of paid parking lease for another one year at free of cost.

The petitioner bid the tender of leasing out parking premises in front of i. Hotel Raj Towers, Eluru Road; ii. East side of the Hotel Raj Towers, left and right margins of Eluru Road at Petrol Bunk for a period of two years i.e. 25.04.2016 to 24.04.2018. The petitioner states that, despite allotment order, he was not allowed to maintain paid parking areas by the adjacent shop owners, hotels, bar and restaurants. He, therefore, made a representation dated 10.03.2017, seeking extension of paid parking lease for another one year at free of cost and, as no action has been taken, the present Writ Petition is filed. Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and Sri R.Sudheer, learned Standing Counsel for respondent Nos.2 and 3.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.03.2017 within a period of four weeks.

Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
