ORDER

The petitioner was alloted a plot in Madhurawada layout in MIG-600 category by the respondent-authority vide proceedings dated 23.09.1989 and the area of land is 249.03 square yards. When the respondent directed the petitioner to pay an amount of Rs.65,327/- towards balance due on or before 15.12.2012, failing which, penal interest @ 18% will be charged and the allotment is liable for cancellation, the present writ petition is filed. This Court on 2.1.2013 passed the following order: "Upto 31.3.2013, the petitioner be granted time to pay the balance amount of Rs.65,000/- (Rupees sixty five thousand only). In such an event, no penal action shall be taken against the petitioner.

Learned standing counsel for VUDA takes notice. It is needless that, as soon as the balance amount is paid, the sale deed be executed in favour of the petitioner. Any such payment will abide by the result in the writ petition." Though the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent did not receive any written instructions, on oral instructions, he stated that the petitioner paid the said amount and the sale deed was also executed.

In view of the same, no further orders are necessary in this writ petition.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
