ORAL ORDER:

Petitioner claims that he is owner and possessor of agricultural land to an extent of Ac.1.09 guntas in survey No. 461/AA(1), Vattinagulapally village, Rajendranagar, Ranga Reddy district. Four brothers partitioned the joint family property and have received respective shares. After partition, petitioner obtained pattadar pass books and title deeds but unfortunately, they were misplaced, therefore, petitioner submitted application in Form -6A in Meeseva on 1.10.2015 for furnishing duplicate copy of pattadar pass books and title deeds but so far, the same were not issued. Hence, this writ petition. 2.

The Assistant Government Pleader is not able to clarify whether duplicate pass books and title deeds can be issued now in view of the decision taken by the Government to issue new pass books and title deeds to all land holders. Be that as it may, writ petition is disposed of directing the Tahsildar-4th respondent to verify whether application claimed to have been submitted by the petitioner on 1.10.2015 was received and pending; and if it is, examine whether petitioner is entitled to duplicate pass books and title deeds or new pass books and title deeds, as the case may be and inform the decision taken under the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Rules, 1989 to the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
