The present petitions, as also W.A.No.228 of 2012, W.P.No.34771 of 2014, W.P.No.23102 of 2018, WP(PIL).No.1 of 2019, W.P.No.7067 of 2020, W.P.No.10192 of 2020 and W.P.No.11143 of 2020, raise multiple issues with respect to import of maize/corn (popcorn) through licences issued by the Director General of Foreign Trade.

With the consent of the parties, it is directed that W.A.No.228 of 2012, W.P.No.34771 of 2014, W.P.No.23102 of 2018, WP(PIL).No.1 of 2019, W.P.No.7067 of 2020, W.P.No.10192 of 2020 and W.P.No.11143 of 2020 shall be retained and maintained on the record for the purposes of arguments, while closing the present petitions.

The present petitions are accordingly closed along with the pending applications, if any.

Learned counsel for the parties in the present petitions shall, however, be entitled to assist the Court in the writ appeal/writ petitions that have been retained. They shall also be entitled to W.P.No.13286 of 2014 & batch
