Smt.Taranjeet Kaur,W/O.Harpreet Singh v. The Government Of State Of Telangana
HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P. KESHAVA RAO WRIT PETITION No.24439 of 2014 ORDER:
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. The prayer sought in the writ petition is as under: "... to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly writ of mandamus declaring the action of the 3rd respondent in not registering the FIR and not investigating the case on petitioner complaint referred by Hon'ble III Metropolitan Magistrate Cyberabad, L.B. Nagar, R.R. District vide dispatch No.1473 of 2014 dated 25.07.2014 in C.C.SR.No.2663 of 2014 is arbitrary and illegal and violative to the letter and spirit of Constitution of India and consequently direct the 3rd respondent to complete the investigation as early as possible and to assert the accused to punish according with law accused persons in connection with C.C.SR.No.2663/2014 without further delay."
Learned Government Pleader brought to the notice of this Court that the complaint vide CC.SR.No.2663 of 2014 was registered as Crime No.626 of 2014. When the investigation was in progress, the parties have compromised the matter on 27.07.2015 before the III Metropolitan Magistrate, Ranga Reddy at L.B. Nagar. Since the grievance of the petitioner was already redressed in the form of compromise between the parties, this Court is of the opinion that no further cause would survive in the writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. _____________________ P. KESHAVA RAO, J Date: 12.12.2019.
