THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.6534 of 2016 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioners seeking a direction to the Court of Assistant Sessions Judge, Nuzvid, Krishna District, to conclude the trial in SC No.242 of 2015 and dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible.

Heard and perused the material available on record. Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the case was registered in the year 2010 and the charge sheet was filed in the year 2015, that the petitioners are government employees and due to the pendency of the case, their promotions are also stalled and therefore, he prays to direct the Court below to conclude the trial as early as possible and to dispose of the same.

Considering facts and circumstances of the case, the Assistant Sessions Judge, Nuzvid, Krishna District, is directed to conclude the trial in SC No.242 of 2015 and dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six (6) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above directions, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. _______________ RAJA ELANGO, J April 27, 2016.
