This writ petition was filed assailing the action of the respondent authorities in seeking to evict the petitioners from their huts in Sy.Nos.50P and 50/1 of Belum Village, Kolimigundla Mandal, Kurnool District, on the ground that they were already issued house site pattas in respect thereof.

By order dated 21.04.2005, this Court directed the respondent authorities not to interfere with the petitioners' possession in respect of the huts in question without following due process of law.

The Mandal Revenue Officer, Kolimigundla Mandal, filed a counter-affidavit admitting that the petitioners were granted possession certificates on 28.07.2004 in

respect of the lands claimed by them in Sy.Nos.50P and 50/1 of Belum Village. He denied the claim of the petitioners that there was any attempt to interfere with their possession in respect of the subject lands.

In the light of the stand put forth by the authorities in their counter, Sri G. Ramachandra Reddy, learned counsel representing the petitioners, states that the matter may be closed.

Taking on record the stand of the Mandal Revenue Officer, Kolimigundla Mandal, the writ petition is closed.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
