The present petition is filed seeking regular bail by the petitioner/ A-1 in Crime No.122 of 2016 of Kollapur Police Station, Mahaboobnagar District which was registered against the petitioner and other accused for the offence under Section 307 IPC. The accusation briefly is that having regard to family disputes, the petitioner and other accused beat the de facto complainant who is his wife and attempted to kill her by throttling her neck and also beat her with sticks. The petitioner/ A-1 was arrested on 06.06.2017 and investigation is reported to be pending. Learned Addl.P.P. seriously opposed the petition on the submission that the wife of the petitioner died in suspicious circumstances and therefore, the police S.R. Nagar Police Station registered F.I.R. No.285 of 2017 dt.8.4.
