HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE GUDISEVA SHYAM PRASAD. WRIT PETITION No. 3206 OF 2016 O R D E R :

This is a writ of mandamus filed by the petitioner for a direction to the respondent No.3 to complete the investigation and file final report/charge sheet in FIR.No. 136 of 2006 of Abids Police Station, Hyderabad.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home [TG].

3. The learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home submits that basing on the written instructions submitted by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Abids Police Station, that the investigation has been completed and final report under section 173 [2] Cr.P.C. has been filed before the II-Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Hyderabad, vide S.R.No. 1050 of 2016 and a notice was sent to the defacto complainant/petitioner by registered post with acknowledgement due, and therefore, no cause is surviving in this writ petition.

4. In view of the above submission of the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.

5. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions if any, pending in this writ petition stand closed.
