THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE SANJAY KUMAR AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE N. BALAYOGI WRI T PETI TI ON No.4055 of 2016 ORDER: (Per Justice Sanjay Kumar) The State of Telangana and the officials of its Intermediate Education Department filed this writ petition aggrieved by the order dated 26.11.2014 passed by the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal, Hyderabad, in O.A.No.2440 of 2012.

By the said order, the Tribunal directed the authorities to consider and accord notional promotion to the first respondent herein as Principal of a Government Junior College on par with his immediate junior with all consequential benefits, including the revised pension in the cadre of Principal, subject to his eligibility for the panel year 2011-12. The Tribunal further observed that he would only be entitled to notional benefits and not actual monetary benefits. The authorities were directed to pass appropriate orders in this regard within a time frame. Sri M. Srikanth, learned counsel for the first respondent, would inform us that the order of the Tribunal was duly acted upon and proceedings dated 20.08.

2016 were issued by the Regional Joint Director of Intermediate Education, Warangal, fixing the first respondent's pay scale notionally in terms of the revised pay scales of 2010. Sri M. Srikanth, learned counsel, would state that the issue therefore does not survive for consideration on merits at this stage. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Services (Telangana) fairly concedes this position.

In that view of the matter, the writ petition is dismissed. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
