This writ petition is filed seeking the following relief: "To declare the action of the respondents in not granting fresh registration certificate on the application submitted by the petitioners seeking permission to aqua culture farms in respect of land situated in survey numbers 105, 107 and 111 admeasuring Ac.2.00 cents of Varahapatnam village, Kikaluru Mandal, Krishna District, as illegal and arbitrary and also to direct the respondents to issue fresh registration certificate in favour of the petitioners in respect of the above said lands for fish tank without further delay."

Heard Sri M.P.V.N.V.Sastry, learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader for respondents. According to the petitioners, they are the absolute owners and possessors of the agricultural lands situated in Survey Nos.105, 107 and 111 admeasuring Ac.2.00 cents of Varahapatnam village, Kikaluru Mandal, Krishna District. According to the petitioners, they made an application on 25.07.2014 before the Deputy Director of Fisheries, Krishna District, the third respondent herein seeking permission for digging the fish tanks. The only grievance of the petitioners is that no action has been taken by the Deputy Director of Fisheries on their application.

In these circumstances, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the entitlement of the petitioners, inclined to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the third respondent to pass appropriate orders on the application of the petitioners dated 25.07.2014. For the aforesaid reasons, the writ petition is disposed of,

directing the third respondent herein to take appropriate action on the application dated 25.07.2014 said to have been submitted by the petitioners herein within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
