PRAVEEN KUMAR And THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P.KESHAVA RAO F.C.A.No.83 of 2017 JUDGMENT: (per Hon'ble Sri Justice C.Praveen Kumar) 1) The appeal is filed against the judgment and decree dated 16.05.2016 passed in F.C.O.P.No.93 of 2014 on the file of the Judge, Family Court, Secunderabad.

2) The appellant herein filed F.C.O.P.No.93 of 2014 seeking divorce on the ground of cruelty and desertion. Vide judgment and decree dated 16.05.2016, the learned Judge, Family Court, Secunderabad, dismissed the said O.P. Challenging the same the present appeal is filed by the appellant/ husband. 3) During pendency of the appeal, the appellant filed a memo vide U.S.R.No.6722 of 2017. Today the appellant and respondent are present. Sri P.Nagendra Reddy, Advocate, identified the appellant and Sri Baddam Narsimha Reddy, identified the respondent. In the compromise memo, it has been stated that the appellant agreed to pay Rs.17.00 lakhs to the respondent towards permanent alimony. When examined, the respondent stated that she has received a demand draft for the said amount and she has also agreed to withdraw all the cases filed against the appellant and his family members. .

4) In view of the above and having regard to the settlement arrived at between the parties, we deem it appropriate to dispose of the appeal in terms of the memorandum of compromise. 5) Accordingly, F.C.A.No.83 of 2017 is disposed of in terms of the compromise and the order dated 16.05.2016 passed in F.C.O.P.No.93 of 2014 on the file of the Judge, Family Court, Secunderabad, is hereby set aside. The compromise memo shall form part of this order. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this appeal shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs. ____________________ C.
