THE HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN WRIT PETITION NO.10638 OF 2010 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to declare the action of the respondent, in not considering the petitioner's case for compassionate appointment, as arbitrary and illegal. By way of an interim application, the petitioner sought a direction to the respondent to consider his representations for providing compassionate appointment.

By order, in WPMP No.13626 of 2010 dated 14.06.2010, this Court granted interim direction as prayed for. As the interim order sought for is similar to the final relief in this Writ Petition, and as the respondents have been directed to consider the petitioner's case for compassionate appointment, no further orders are necessary in this Writ Petition. The Writ Petition is, accordingly, closed. The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. No costs.
