HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No:35315 OF 2016 ORDER:

The present writ petition is filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking to quash the rowdy sheet opened against him, and to direct the respondents not to interfere with the liberty of the petitioner in any manner.

Heard and perused the material available on record. 3.
It is stated in the affidavit that the petitioner is the lessee of agricultural land belonged to Smt. Gangina Satyavani. Originally, the said land belonged to Vundavalli Varahalamma and she sold the same to the lessor of the petitioner under an agreement of sale. The possession of the land was also delivered to the lessor of the petitioner. As there was no registered sale deed and as there is hike in the value of the lands, the said Vundavalli Varahalamma and others are trying to grab land. As the petitioner is cultivating the said land, the said Vundavalli Varahalamma and others developed grudge against the petitioner and got filed false cases against the petitioner. The 4th respondent in collusion with the above said persons, opened a rowdy sheet against the petitioner. The petitioner gave a representation on 8.8.
2016 to respondents Nos.1 to 3 and other police officials to delete the rowdy sheet and initiate action against the 4th respondent for registering false cases against him. But the 2nd respondent issued a letter dated 13.11.2014 stating that the closing of rowdy sheet against the petitioner will be considered at an appropriate time. Till date, the official respondents are continuing the rowdy sheet against the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner approached this Court.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the grievance of the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on merits, the Writ Petition is disposed of with the following direction: "The petitioner is directed to give a fresh representation to respondents Nos.1 to 3 or to the authorities concerned and on such representation being filed, respondents Nos.1 to 3 or the authorities concerned are directed to pass appropriate orders in accordance with law."
No costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
