ORDER:
This Criminal Petition is filed before this Court for grant of pre-arrest bail to the petitioner who is arrayed as accused No.2 in Crime No.285 of 2026 of Jagadgirigutta Police Station, Cyberabad Commissionerates, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 108, r/w 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (for short 'BNS').

The brief facts of the case are that, on 27.02.2026, the de-facto complainant lodged a report before the police stating that one Anugu Divya, maternal niece of the defacto complainant, got married in 2014 to one Venkat Narasimha Reddy and she got separated due to his ill health and disputes, It is further stated she is living with complainant's parents for 4 years while working at Sai Textiles near Charminar. About 1.5 years ago, via friend Jyothi, she met Hemanth Sagar, who introduced her to Narasimha Rao (already married). Narasimha Rao misled her with marriage promises, leading to a live-in relationship in a rented house. He paid her Rs.15,000/- per month but later refused to recognize her as wife, insulted her as a "kept woman," and insisted on staying with his first wife.
Later Divya confronted Narasimha Rao and Hemanth, who threatened her to comply or face severe consequences. Three days prior to 27.02.2026, she pleaded for marriage or threatened suicide; they mockingly said her death would end their trouble, or they'd kill her. On 27.02.
cheated and at about 10:00 hrs, she collapsed dead. Hence, the complainant requested to take necessary action. Based on the said complaint, the police registered a case against the petitioner for the aforementioned offences.

Heard Sri Neelam Bhargava Ram, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner as well as Sri M. Ramachandra Reddy, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for respondent-State.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is no way connected with the said allegations. Even according to the de-facto complainant, the victim maintained relationship with accused No.1. It is further submitted that the only allegation is that this petitioner has introduced the accused No.1 to the victim. Apart from that there is no such relationship to the petitioner with the victim so as to commit such suicide. It is further submitted that the petitioner is innocent of the said allegations and he is suffering with medical ailments. It is further submitted that the petitioner is ready to co-operate with the investigating authority.
Therefore, he prayed the Court to grant bail to the petitioner by allowing this criminal petition. 5.
On the other hand, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor opposing the petition stating that the alleged offences are grievous in nature and the specific allegations against the petitioner is that the petitioner along with accused No.1 abated the victim. Therefore, he prayed the Court to dismiss the petition.

In the light of the submissions made by both the learned counsel and upon perusal of the material available on record, it appears that the petitioner is arrayed as accused No.2 and the report filed by the defacto complainant goes to show that the petitioner has introduced the accused No.1 to the victim and that accused no.1 refused to marry the victim. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court deems it fit to grant pre-arrest bail to the petitioner, subject to compliance of the following conditions: i.
The petitioner shall surrender before the Station House Officer, Jagadgirigutta Police Station,
Cyberabad, within two weeks from today, and on such surrender, the said Station House Officer shall release him on bail, on petitioner executing a personal bond for Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only), with two sureties, for the like sum each.
ii.
The petitioner shall abide by the other conditions stipulated in Section 482(2) of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 and cooperate with the Investigating Officer in investigating the case.
iii.
The petitioner shall appear before the concerned Investigating Officer on every Monday between 09:00 a.m, and 05:00 p.m., till the filing of the charge sheet and thereafter, as and when required.

Accordingly, the Criminal petition is allowed. Miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed.
