This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner-accused No. 22 seeking for relaxation of the condition which was imposed while granting bail to him in Criminal Miscellaneous Petition No. 2440 of 2017 (Crime No. 112 of 2013 of Sattenapalli Town Police Station, Guntur District) by the Principal Sessions Judge, Guntur (for short, 'the Court below'), on 16-11-2017 and the condition is to the effect that the petitioner shall execute bail bonds for Rs.2,00,000/ - with two sureties each for the like sum and one of the sureties shall be a local surety.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Public Prosecutor (A.P.).

Learned counsel for the petitioner brought to the notice of this Court the order dated 05-01-2018 passed by the Court below in Criminal Miscellaneous Petition No. 2739 of 2017 filed in the above crime. A perusal of the order shows that the Court below, while granting bail to accused No. 16 in the very same crime, imposed a condition only to the extent of directing him to execute bail bonds for Rs.25,000/ - with two sureties each for the like sum. Learned Public Prosecutor does not refute the same. 4.

Considering the above and to draw parity between the accused, the Court is inclined to modify the condition. 5.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is allowed modifying the condition by directing the petitioner-accused No. 22 to execute bail bonds for Rs.25,000/ - with two sureties each for the like

sum instead of Rs.2,00,000/ - as ordered by the Court below and the further condition that one of the two sureties shall be a local surety is relaxed and the rest of the order shall remain intact. Pending miscellaneous petitions if any shall stand closed in consequence.
