This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C seeking to quash the proceedings against the petitioner in C.C.No.334 of 2011 on the file of Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Banswada, Nizamabad District, registered for the offence punishable under Section 188 IPC.

Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor filed a Memo, dated 23.08.2018, stating that the police after completion of investigation filed charge sheet before the Court below, which came to be numbered as C.C.No.334 of 2011 on the file of Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Banswada. The matter underwent trial and finally the Court below acquitted the petitioner for the said offence on 22.08.2014. 3.

Hence, the cause in this Criminal Petition does not survive for further adjudication and that the petition has become infructuous and is consequently dismissed as infructuous. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
