HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.9710 of 2015 ORDER:

This criminal petition, under sections 437 & 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, is filed by the petitioners-Accused Nos.5 & 6 seeking to grant bail in connection with crime No.95 of 2015 on the file of Kasimkota Police Station, Visakhapatnam, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 20(b) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.

Heard and perused the material available on record. The allegation against the petitioners is that they involved in ganja business and they tried to transport 1,980 kgs., of ganja by transporting the same in the vehicle of A4. Since the ganja recovered is 1,980 kgs., which is more than the commercial quantity, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners at this stage.
