Asadi Subbalakshamma v. The District Collector
HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI W.P.No.22567 OF 2003
ORDER
Challenging the appointment of the 4th respondent as Anganwadi Aya to Samudrampalli Anganwadi Centre, Kamalapuram Mandal, Kadapa District, the present writ petition is filed.
Heard Sri D.Kodanda Rami Reddy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Women and Child Welfare appearing for respondents 1 to 3.
The grievance of the petitioner is that though she is more meritorious than the 4th respondent, respondents 1 to 3 have not considered her case for appointment as Anganwadi Aya.
Learned Government Pleader for Women and Child Welfare appearing for respondents 1 to 3 submits that the 4th respondent is a native of Samudrampalli Village and to that effect revenue authorities have issued nativity certificate in her favour and that no illegality has been committed by the respondents in appointing the 4th respondent as Anganwadi Aya.
Having considered the rival submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court is of the considered view that no illegality or irregularity has been committed by respondents 1 to 3 in appointing the 4th respondent as Anganwadi Aya. There are no merits in the writ petition and the same is liable to be dismissed.
Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
