HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C.PRAVEEN KUMAR CONTEMPT CASE No.392 of 2017 ORDER:

The present Contempt Case is filed under Sections 10 to 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act stating that the respondents have willfully and deliberately disobeyed the order dated 06.12.2016 passed by this Court in W.P.No.42319 of 2016, wherein the District Revenue Officer-cum-appellate authority under RTI Act, Chittoor was directed to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner on 12.01.2016.

Learned Government Pleader for Revenue would submit that the order dated 06.12.2016 passed by this Court in W.P.No.42319 of 2016 has been complied with. The same is not disputed by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

In view of the fact that the District Revenue officer-cum-appellate authority under RTI Act, Chittoor has disposed of the appeal filed by the petitioner on 12.01.2016, the order dated 06.12.2016 stands complied with. Hence nothing survives for adjudication in the contempt case. 3.

Accordingly, the Contempt Case is closed.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
