The case of the petitioners is that appeal filed by them under Andhra Pradesh Scheduled Areas Ryotwari Settlement Regulation, 2/1970 was dismissed for default on 09-07-2012 and the application to set aside the dismissal order is filed on 05-10-2012. Thereafter, petitions were also filed on 23-06-2014 and 02-04-2016 for taking up the matter. Still the said applications are not disposed of. Aggrieved by the same, the present writ petition is filed.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue for the State of Andhra Pradesh. In view of the facts and circumstances, the 1st respondent is directed to dispose of the application filed for setting aside the dismissal order dated 09-07-2012, in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order and take action accordingly.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed.
