ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking the following relief: "to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly a Writ of Mandamus thereby directing Respondent No.2 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 08.11.2016, 25.01.2017 and 23.03.2017 as per terms of the exit Policy and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court deems fit in the interest of justice."

Heard Sri Damodar Mundra, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Sri N.Rajeshwar Rao, Assistant Solicitor General appearing for the respondents.

The grievance of the petitioner is that he is an investor and he submitted representations dated 08.11.2016, 25.01.2017 & 23.03.2017 to the 2nd respondent to pass on certain information from the 3rd respondent in terms of the Exit Policy. But, 2nd respondent neither considered the said representations nor furnished the information. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner contended that appropriate orders be passed in the writ petition directing the 2nd respondent to consider the representations dated 08.11.2016, 25.01.2017 & 23.03.2017 submitted by the petitioner in terms of the Exit Policy.

Learned Assistant Solicitor General appearing for the respondents contended that since the representations submitted by the petitioner are pending with the 2nd respondent, the 2nd respondent would consider the same and pass appropriate orders.

Having considered the rival submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court is of the considered view that this writ petition can be disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to consider the representations dated 08.11.2016, 25.01.2017 & 23.03.2017 submitted by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
