THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A.V. SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.27369 OF 2009 ORDER:

This writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India challenges the action of the respondents in opening the rowdy sheet against the petitioner in Kothagudem I Town Police Station, Khammam District. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the written instructions of the Station House Officer, Kothagudem I-Town Police Station, Khammam District, dated 19.01.2015, are placed on record by the learned Government Pleader for Home in which it is stated that the rowdy sheet opened against the petitioner is closed with effect from 28.01.2014. In view of the above, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication.

Hence, the writ petition is closed. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
