THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.37042 OF 2016 O R D E R:

The writ petition is filed questioning the action of the respondents in not disposing of the representation dated 16.09.2016 submitted by the petitioners. It is the case of the petitioners that the respondents 1 to 4 are proposing to open a toddy shop within the 100 meters distance from the public worship i.e., the first petitioner's temple and opposing the same, the Temple Committee of the petitioners addressed letters dated 17.06.2014 and 04.10.2014 requesting the respondents 1 to 4 as to whether the authorities have granted any license in favour of the person who is proposing to reopen the toddy shop, but the respondents 1 to 4 did not take any steps so far. Hence, the present writ petition.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that bringing all these aspects to the notice of the respondents 1 to 4, petitioners submitted representations dated 17.06.2014 and 04.10.2014, but the respondents 1 to 3 failed to take any action so far.

Inasmuch as the grievance of the petitioners is for consideration and disposal of their representations dated 17.06.2014 and 04.10.2014, the writ petition can be disposed of without expressing any opinion directing the respondents 1 to 4 to consider the representations dated 17.06.2014 and 04.10.2014, submitted by the petitioners and pass appropriate orders after giving the reasonable opportunities of hearing to the petitioners in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

With the above observations, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. As a sequel to disposal of the writ petition, WP.M.Ps if any pending shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
