This Criminal Petition is filed, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, by the petitioner/accused, seeking to quash the proceedings in
F.I.R.No.255 of 2015 on the file of III Town Police Station, Rajahmundry Urban, East Godavari District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 354 and 506 I.P.C.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.
3. A perusal of the complaint filed by the 2nd respondent would show that on 29.06.2015, while she was going to the School, the petitioner stalked her, behaved in a very indecent manner and also put his hand on her bosom, pressed it and commented that it was very strong. These allegations, prima facie, require to be investigated into by the police and also there are no valid grounds to quash the proceedings against the petitioner/accused.
