HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 34364 OF 2011 ORDER:

The present Writ Petition came to be filed seeking to declare the action of respondent No.2 in issuing proceedings Lr.No.6885, dated 22.12.2011, as illegal and arbitrary and consequently to set aside the same by directing the respondents to release the bore well.

The grievance of the petitioner is that the bore-well which was used for cultivation in his agricultural land admeasuring Acs.15.13 guntas situated at Revally, H/o.Rudraram Village of Nawabpet Mandal District, Mahbubnagar, was requisitioned under Section 15 of the Andhra Pradesh Water Land and Trees Act for a period of six months, vide proceedings Lr.No.6885, dated 22.12.2011, issued by respondent No.2, in response to the representations submitted by respondent Nos.5 and 6, due to some political rivalries existing between the petitioner and respondent Nos.5 and 6. Aggrieved thereby, the present Writ Petition is filed. At the time when the matter is taken up for hearing, it is brought to the notice of this Court by the learned counsel for the petitioner that no further orders need be passed in this Writ Petition, since the period of six months for requisition of the bore well from the date of issuance of aforementioned proceedings, i.e., 22.12.2011, has already expired.

In view of the above, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, the Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall also stand closed.
