THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.32371 OF 2012 DATED: 14.07.2015 Between:

K. Anand Rao .. Petitioner And The Govt. of A.P., Rep. by Principal Secretary, Home Department, Hyderabad, and others.

.. Respondents THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.32371 of 2012 ORDER:

The grievance of the petitioner in this case was that the police authorities were not taking any action in Crime No.403 of 2012 registered on the file of Madhapur Police Station, Ranga Reddy District. He therefore sought a direction to transfer investigation in the said crime to any police officer other than the Inspector of Police, Madhapur Police Station, Ranga Reddy District. Basing on the written instructions dated 07.07.2015 received from the Sub-Inspector of Police, Madhapur Police Station, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home informed this Court that Crime No.403 of 2012 was registered under Sections 379, 385 and 506 I.P.C. read with Section 34 I.P.C. on the file of Madhapur Police Station, upon forwarding of the private complaint made by the petitioner by the learned IX Metropolitan Magistrate, Kukatpally, at Miyapur. However, upon due investigation, the police authorities filed a final report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. reporting 'lack of evidence'. This final report was stated to have been filed under Inward No.4279 of 2014 dated 28.06.2014.

In the light of the afore-stated developments, it is for the petitioner to take appropriate steps in accordance with law if he is aggrieved by the final conclusion of the police authorities in relation to his complaint.

Reserving liberty to the petitioner to do so, the writ petition is dismissed.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
