HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI CRIMINAL PETITION No.2678 of 2019 ORDER:

This petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C seeking to quash Cr.No.29 of 2018 of Women Police Station, Nalgonda, registered for the offence punishable under Section 498-A IPC.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, the petitioners and the 2nd respondent, who are present before this Court, stated that they have amicably settled the matter at the intervention of the elders and therefore, they seek to record the terms of compromise entered into between them.

Perused the original I.D proofs of the parties and the terms of compromise. This Court is of the considered view that both the parties have compromised the matter subject to condition that the petitioners pays an amount of Rs.4,00,000/- (Rupees four lakhs only) to the 2nd respondent towards full and final settlement. In pursuance thereof, a cheque bearing No.020821, dated 25-04-2019 (State Bank of India, Nalgonda Branch) was handed over to the 2nd respondent, in open Court.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is allowed and Cr.No.29 of 2018 of Women Police Station, Nalgonda, is quashed. The terms of compromise entered into between the parties shall form part of the record.
