CVNR,J C.C.No.1273 of 2018 ORDER:

This contempt case is filed alleging willful disobedience of order, dated 29.07.2008 in W.P.No.13458 of 2000.

The learned Government Pleader for Land Acquisition appearing for the respondents has placed before me, proceedings, dated 22.06.2018, of respondent No.2 releasing a sum of Rs.52,61,580/- through bankers cheque No.434128, dated 22.06.2018, in compliance with the order of this Court.

With the issue of the aforementioned proceedings, the long pending grievance of the petitioners that in spite of their land admeasuring Acs.18.20 cents in survey Nos.24 to 34 of Peddavalasa Village @ Gadabavalasa in Pedmariki Revenue Village, Jiyyammavalasa Mandal, being utilized for construction of housing colony and for agricultural purposes as far back as 1991, they were not paid compensation, stood redressed. As the respondents have complied with the order of this Court passed as far back as 29.07.2008, albeit, after a decade, I am inclined to close the contempt case. 4.

The Contempt Case is, accordingly, closed and the respondents are discharged from the contempt proceedings.

As a sequel to closure of the Contempt Case, I.A.No.1 of 2018 shall stand dismissed as infructuous.
