THE HON'BLE DR.JUSTICE SHAMEEM AKTHER CRIMINAL PETITION NO.3183 OF 2018 ORDER:
This petition is filed by the petitioners-A1 to A3 under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to quash the proceedings in Cr.No.319 of 2018 on the file of the Station House Officer, Rajendranagar P.S., Cyberabad District, registered for the offence punishable under Section 420 IPC.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor representing the State and perused the record.

Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that there are no ingredients of Section 420 IPC. These petitioners were falsely implicated in this case. 4.
As per the report lodged with the police, dated 23.02.2018, there was an engagement of marriage between the de facto complainant and the petitioner-A1 on 12.08.2017. The marriage was likely to be performed in the month of December, 2017. Thereafter, it was cancelled. The de facto complainant contends that she was cheated by the petitioners. There are no details in the report, dated 23.02.2018 lodged with the police with regard to cancellation of marriage. The interest of the petitioners has to be protected.

Under these circumstances, the Station House Officer/Investigating Officer is directed to complete the investigation and file final report, without arresting the petitioners-A1 to A3 in the above crime. The petitioners-A1 to A3 shall co-operate with the investigating officer.

With the above direction, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
